Ovinium better known as Clomid is made up of oral clomiphene citrate.
Clomiphene citrate is not an anabolic steroid but a synthetic estrogen hormone which is used in bodybuilding in order to fight against a number of hormonal disorders caused by taking anabolic steroids.

Clomiphene citrate is primarily a fertility drug that was created to stimulate ovulation in women who have difficulty getting pregnant.

This molecule also has the property of stimulating the production of endogenous testosterone in men inside the testicles, by raising the secretion of the hormones LH and FSH.

It is this last property that interests bodybuilders because they undergo certain hormonal imbalances when they use steroids, and especially when these steroids are highly androgenic.

Many androgens, especially the stronger ones such as Anadrol, have the unfortunate consequence of causing the natural production of testosterone in the body to drop throughout the duration of the steroid cycle. This is easily explained if we consider that the intake of external androgens makes it unnecessary to manufacture testosterone by the body since these androgens produce the same effect as testosterone.

The body therefore reacts by stopping the production of testosterone, since it is no longer necessary during the cycle.

The problem is that after the end of the cycle, the metabolism does not immediately restart this production of testosterone, which has become dangerously low. It is therefore urgent to stimulate it if we want to avoid a serious metabolic accident by loss of weight and catastrophic strength.

This is why bodybuilders use Clomid, which triggers the production of endogenous testosterone in the testicles, and therefore avoids the accident.

Athletes testify that a daily dose of 50-100 mg of Clomid can restore normal testosterone levels in 2 weeks.

However, before starting treatment with Clomid, bodybuilders generally use HCG, which also increases the production of endogenous testosterone, but whose action is much faster. HCG is used first to raise the subject's testosterone level immediately after the end of the cycle, then the treatment is continued more durably with Clomid.

Clomiphene citrate is also an effective anti-estrogen.

At the end of the cycle, there is often a risk of gynecomastia due to the transformation of steroids into estrogen, because these substances have, despite their very different effects, very similar chemical formulas.

By occupying the estrogen receptor cells in place of it, Clomid prevents the estrogen present in the body from acting and thus makes it possible to avoid the effects linked to it, including in particular gynecomastia.
Clomid is one of the few products mentioned in this book that is not very dangerous, non-toxic and devoid of side effects.

Bodybuilders rarely have any trouble with this product, except for occasional flashes or blurred vision.

However, it is not recommended to use clomiphene citrate over a period of more than 2 weeks and in the event that the previous visual disturbances appear, it is preferable to stop treatment immediately.
As we have already said before, 50-100mg for 2 weeks is enough to restore the normal level of testosterone in the body.
Clomid is made in 50mg tablets, in packs of 10.
